Thousands of thrill-seekers have joined a campaign to reopen one of Derbyshire's best-loved attractions.
The American Adventure, next to Shipley Country Park near Ilkeston, shut for the last time in 2007.
Now a petition to bring back the theme park, a favourite with families for 20 years before closing a decade ago, has been signed by more than 8,000 people. And his petition now has 8,168 signatures, out of a target of 10,000.

"There has to be someone out there with enough money to invest and bring it back to life."
He added: "I have many memories of visits there with friends and family but now it's an eyesore.
